I'm still here. I've done some projects, but either haven't had time to take photos, or clean up and post the photos I have taken. I've enrolled in Sharon's Tatting Design class. I feel terrible because I haven't posted any of the assignments. I knew that my boyfriend was going to be home from deployment the same week the class started but figured I could get caught up after he left.
Yeah.... I'm working about one lesson behind what is posted. I read all the emails, but I try not to look at the photos until I'm done because I don't want to be influenced by the other's assignments. But the other day I did cave and look at everyone's first attempts at design. So beautiful and original. I don't know if I would have come up with something like that.
I've got Friday off and Labor Day as well, so maybe I can get some photos taken for next week.

Hi Laurette!
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and taking the time to explain the Lizbeth thread charts!
Sometimes one can't see the forest for the trees, or something like that! I was concentrating so hard on the colors I never glanced over to the 'price' side, or if I did, I ignored the second number and didn't realize it was the thread number!
I had a feeling I was 'missing' something. The only problem is that when I print the charts I'll have to write in the numbers where they're 'hidden' onscreen, because you have to 'click' on the down arrow to see them. But at least they're there! Now I can see what the coordinating colors are.
I hope to see more of your tatting soon. Can you tell us more about your tatting history? You're off to a great start on the 25-Motif Challenge. I enjoyed seeing your gorgeous dog "Whiskey" posing withe the pretty blue doily! Cute photos!
